• Gems 1 Model. These violins are made in Romania in the shop of world renouned luthier Vasile Gliga. Gems I is also known as Gliga I violins. Violin has Maple back, sides and neck with and a spruce top, some very nice scroll work and a Gold slightly antiqued finish with all ebony fittings (fingerboard, tailpiece, endpin and pegs). Wood for these instruments comes from the same region where it is said that stradivarius himself attained his wood. Please contact us for other sizes.
  Gems 1 Violins produce a beautiful dark tone which is loved by everyone.
  While these can sometimes be criticized as not being loud enough, our set up will bring out the true power and resonance of these violins
  We Use one standard fine tuner for E sting and 3 wide post for the G,D & A strings to prevent string breakage
