Description
Typical Lacquer checking from guitars of this age. Typical Dings and scratches but is in good condition.
The pick guard has been replaced due to shrinkage which did form a small crack next to the fingerboard. The crack was repaired correctly and is secure with a patch on the inside as well. This is a common issue on these as the pickguards shrink and literally can tear the wood apart. This crack did not appear to be that bad but again was repaired well. New pickguard was cut and installed. We still have the original pickguard as well which will be included but again has shrunk significantly
The binding also has some shrink back which again is common on these but is in good shape with no issues
This guitar also had new Jumbo frets installed recently.
They were seated well but did need some slight leveling and recrowning which now gives you a long life on this guitar
We also cut a new bone nut.
All this equates to a 12 string which is actually a joy to play with low action.
There is a chip on the side of the headstock(Please see pics)
